Kerry Bog Village Ireland

If you are travelling to Ireland and doing the ring of Kerry, it's worth stopping at the Kerry Bog Village.

This is a fabulous spot to experience 'old Ireland' by walking around the small outdoor museum with lots of traditional character.  On my visit, I saw...

* miniature bog ponies
* old thatched roof cottages
* turf and the equipment for this important ancient craft
* farm equipment and antiques

There's also a restaurant onsite, The Old Fox Inn, that's full of character.  A pint of Guinness or an Irish Coffee is recommended!

Places nearby: Bantry House, Ring of Kerry drive.

County Kerry is beautiful all year round and a great place to visit! Lovely!
